This stunning 18-carat gold antique chain ring is crowned with a captivating vintage emerald-cut diamond.

This rare and striking chain ring is handcrafted; converted from a Victorian-era watch chain, it has solid 18-carat gold curb chain links, each one boasting beautiful crisp clear stamps for 18-carat gold ("18" alongside a crown).

The vintage diamond is set into a modern 18-carat gold setting that is perfectly crafted around the emerald-cut diamond and positioned between the curb chain links.

This stunning diamond is 0.225cts and measures 6mm by 5mm in its setting. It is a natural diamond, repurposed from a vintage piece. It is bright, with good cut, colour and clarity but does have a small nibble to one corner that is not noticeable to the naked eye and does not detract from the beauty of the diamond or the scintillation (sparkle) in any way. The diamond displays flashes of white and spectral colours as it catches the light, drawing attention to the diamond and the impressive design of this unique piece.

Both the antique chain and the modern gold diamond setting are a buttery yellow 18-carat gold colour and blend flawlessly together.

The size of this chain ring is a US 6.5 / UK N - it can also be worn on fingers that are slightly smaller/larger than that size as the chain is flexible so the ring moulds to the shape of your finger for an extremely comfortable fit.

Chain: Excellent antique condition

The antique curb chain links are in excellent condition; they are solid (not hollow) and chubby, each one stamped with a crown and "18" depicting 18-carat gold.

Diamond: Good vintage condition

The natural emerald-cut diamond is bright and has very good cut, colour and clarity. There is a small nibble to one corner, not noticeable to the naked eye. This does not detract from the strength of the stone or its beauty and does not interfere with its scintillation (sparkle). The small nibble to the stone has been reflected in the price.

Handcrafted in 18-carat yellow gold, the horizontal setting is designed to complement the emerald-cut diamond, drawing your eye to the precious stone whilst allowing you to easily stack this fabulous ring with your other pieces.
Rings that are made to order can be made in half sizes unless otherwise stated. Rings that are in stock and immediately available will be listed with the ring size. These can usually be re-sized before dispatch. Please get in touch to discuss possible re-sizing options before placing your order.

If you already know your ring size you can use your normal ring size when ordering any of our rings, including the chain rings.

Chain rings are made to fit, so we will make adjustments to the size in order for the ring to fit the size ordered (this may be different from the size it measures on the mandrel depending on the chain style).

If you are unsure of your normal ring size, we advise that you measure the size of your finger rather than the size of your ring.

You can easily measure your ring size yourself by following the below steps:

1. Using a length of string or similar, wrap it around the base of your finger. To ensure the ring fits comfortably, we suggest ensuring that this length will move over your knuckle.

2. With a pen, mark the point on the string where the ends meet.

3. Measure the string with a ruler.

4. Choose the closest measurement to our sizing chart to find your ring size.
