This antique watch chain is a really wonderful collector's piece. Dating to the Victorian era, the chubby trombone links are a glorious warm gold colour with one end link bearing a crisp, clear stamp with the marker "M.M' and the gold purity '15'.
The chain is a super versatile short length of 13.5 inches from the bolt ring to the dog clip, so she can be worn as a double-wrapped bracelet or attached to another short chain, a bracelet or an extender to lengthen her to your ideal necklace length.
The beautiful 15ct gold links are semi-solid and in very good antique condition, with only one or two links showing minor signs of repair where we have filled some worn areas with 18ct gold solder, ensuring a seamless finish that's barely noticeable to the naked eye.
